teen activity!!

Yesterday afternoon Jess and I went with Jordan and Jenn to Norway

to help with our extention church's teen activity! Jordan and

another guy wrote out a scavenger hunt type game and gave us

1 1/2 hours to complete the list. And also at each station we

handed out a tract! Out of the twenty three things listed my team got

twenty one and won! For proof that they actually did everything, each

team had a digital camera that the driver used to take pictures of the

group at each station. Pastor Markham was the driver of my team, and

he used my digital camera, so now I have 21 fun pictures. :) haha!

I picked out some of the best ones for you to see...

"take a picture with a Pizza Hut employee"

Lucky for us, we didn't even have to spend time going into Pizza Hut

because this guy was changing the sign outside! We might have

scared the poor man because this was one of our last stops and we

were all quite eager...stopping on the road and running at him

probably seemed strange, but we explained and he

was happy to help. :)

"take a picture washing the car windows at a gas station"

(sorry for never scraping the windows clean, Markhams!...haha!)

"take a picture of group suspened in some way by a Kmart cart"

(poor little Bradly was sent down the sidewalk after the picture was

taken because everyone jumped off and let the cart roll...we were all

in the van and realized he was still in the cart....haha!)

"take a picture at tee box on golf course"

(look at the GREEN grass!)

"take a picture washing the CAR WASH...not the car!"

(the guys had fun squirting me with the left over water and pressure

in the tube :))

Doesn't that look like a super fun activity?

And it was such a BEAUTIFUL day!!! After the game we

all went back to the church where Pastor Markham

gave a challenge on not living life for yourself, but

rather letting God use you for HIS glory. Then we ended

the night off with some yummy sloppy joes, thanks to

Mrs. Griffin, a lady from the church. What a fun day!
