roadtrip: michigan

machelle & walker elsie, abbey, and kendra abbey, elsie & machelle @ river place in frankenmooth me, elsie, & machelle at bronners well here we go ! :) :) yes, i got to go out to the metropolis of mayville michigan to see SAMMY!! :) lucky for me, a friend of sam & mine (bj denham) lives in south-western iowa, AND has a girlfriend (also from college...beth winter :)) that lives only 30 minutes from sam! it kinda started as a joke that he'd give me a ride out there when he visits beth (and i know for a fact that he never thought i'd take him up on it.....hahhaa!) but after i realized that michigan isn't as close as i thought it was, (huh....there's a LAKE in the way) sam & i started bugging bj. :) so, last wednesday, (5th) i met bj in des moines (& left my car @ a friend's house) and then started the roadtrip with him & his little sister cassie out to my & bj's favorite state of michigan. ;) i've already been scolded by quite a few people for not taking enough pictures, and i'm quite upset about it myself too, but it just went so fast!!! anyway, here are just a bunch of miscellaneous pix...i never did get a picutre of sam's sister liz or his dad tho. :( anyway, sam has four sisters, and one brother....machelle (23), liz (21), (sam 19), abbey (12), elsie (9), and walker (1). they are such a fun family and i had so much fun just hanging out with all of them. :) more pictures and stories to come....:) (like my colors sam??)
