RoDeO fEsT!!!!

(ok i feel really stupid, but i promise, there were lots of other girls w/ cowboy hats & braids :)) emily whit & i!!! (she's a teen on my extension @ norway and SUCH a sweet girl! :))

howdy. :) heehee...this was last week when the entire campus is devoted to RODEO FEST! the forecast was rain, so even though they had most of it all set up out side, they decided to move the games into the gym & room 102 in the FC the night before. saturday actually turned out not too bad but it was fine in the building and still fun of course! me & jes worked game booths (jes had a funny frog catapulting game...haha...and i had a bball shoot game). megan was a counsellor but hung out with me & helped with my booth during all the game times, so that was fun and helped the time pass. (thanks meg! it would have been a lot more tiring without you there!!!) bob roberts was the speaker, and i got to sit in on a little bit of every challenge. he was really good & the kids loved him! it was so cute to see the honesty and sincerity of the little kids during the services...they're so sweet....i just love kids. :) anyway, i didn't know it could be so tiring to be excited and enthusiastic ...haha... it was from 7:30 am- 4pm, so by the end i was ready to stop. hehe. it was sooo much fun though!
